Job summary

Flexible People Ltd are recruiting 7.5t Home delivery drivers for a well known client based in Tamworth. You will deliver large goods to residential properties with a Driver's Mate, including TVs, flat pack furniture, gym equipment and white goods.

Start times are 06:00, shifts 8-10 hours, 7 days a week with a 5- or 6-day rota. New drivers undergo a driving assessment, highway code/tacho exam and a full induction.

Qualifications

• Must have a valid UK Driving Licence.
• CPC and Digitacho required.
• No more than 6 points on your licence.
• New drivers are welcome to apply.

• Deliver large goods with a Driver’s Mate to residential properties.
• Shift starts at 06:00 and lasts 8–10 hours.

Job description

Flexible People Ltd are currently recruiting 7.5t Home delivery drivers for a well known client of ours, based in Tamworth.

This is a fantastic opportunity to work for a multi-national organization, with the potential for growth and opportunities.

This role involves working with a Drivers Mate to deliver large goods to residential properties. The type of goods you will be delivering are TV's, flat pack furniture, gym equipment, white goods etc.

Due to the weight of the products you are delivering you MUST be physically fit.

The company offer the customer a 'room of choice' delivery, you will be fully trained on how to do this.

Upon successful application, all new drivers are subject to a driving assessment and multiple choice highway code/tacho exam. This will then be followed the next day with a subsequent induction day.

The company operate 7 days a week, you will be offered a 5 or 6 day rota. Weekend work will be involved.

Shift timings are 06.00 start, shifts last roughly 8-10 hours.

Pay rate - £17.86 per hour.

Overtime Rate (After 48 hours in a working week) - £22.97 P/Hour

After 12 weeks, you can be offered a contract directly with the company. Once you become a full time member of staff, you will be entitled to an award-winning range of benefits including-

Our client will happily accept newly qualified drivers.

You must have a valid UK License, CPC and Digitacho, no more than 6 points on your driving license. No DD, DR or NI convictions.

• Have your own steel toe cap safety boots and a high vis vest
