Associate - Catastrophic Injury - Bristol - 2+ Years PQE

Location: Bristol
Type of Role: Permanent, Full-time (Hybrid Working)
Salary: £45,000 to £60,000

The Role

You’ll be responsible for managing and assisting with a varied caseload of catastrophic and large loss injury matters, including:

  • Complex motor, EL/PL and public liability claims
  • Brain and spinal injury cases
  • Chronic pain and multi track matters
  • Sport related concussion claims, including sensitive and high profile cases
  • Pre litigation and litigated files
  • Liaising with clients, insurers, experts and counsel
  • Supporting a collaborative, high performing team culture
  • Delivering high quality, timely work aligned with client service standards
  • You will work closely with senior lawyers on nationally significant and technically challenging cases.
Candidate Requirements

This role is suited to a qualified solicitor with:

  • 2+ years PQE (Solicitor or CILEX with equivalent experience)
  • Experience in catastrophic injury defence work
  • Strong litigation and negotiation skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
  • Confidence in managing client relationships and attending BD events
  • High attention to detail and strong organisational skills
  • Ability to work efficiently, commercially and under pressure
  • A proactive, motivated and team focused mindset
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and legal IT systems
