Job summary

Argos, a UK retailer, is seeking a Buyer for Personal Electricals. You will translate the category strategy into ranges, pricing and trading plans, and own ranges from strategy through to launch, promotion and exit.

You will be accountable for sales, margin, stock, availability, digital performance and customer satisfaction. You will build productive relationships with major branded suppliers, negotiate funding agreements and work with Merchandising, Digital and Marketing to support growth and

Qualifications

• Current or previous experience in a Buying role, owning or supporting a retail product range.
• Experience with branded hard-goods, electricals or technology categories.
• Ability to interpret sales, margin and stock data to inform decisions.
• Proven ability to negotiate with suppliers and coordinate cross-functional teams.
