Job summary

Argos is seeking a Buyer for Gaming Accessories to own a significant product range and translate category strategy into sales, margins, stock, availability, digital and customer metrics. You’ll lead range selection, pricing, supplier negotiations and promotional activity using customer and market insight.

Your day may include responding to product announcements, reviewing trading with suppliers, and collaborating with Digital and Marketing on launches, with opportunities to support emerging

Qualifications

• Buying experience with direct accountability for range selection and commercial KPIs.
• Ability to translate category strategy into sales, margin and stock plans.
• Experience negotiating with suppliers and managing promotions.
• Knowledge of gaming products and competitor landscape is a plus.
• Proven track record delivering cross-functional initiatives in multi-channel retail.

Responsibilities

• Own a significant Gaming Accessories range, translating strategy into actionable plans.
• Lead range selection, pricing, supplier negotiations, funding and promotions.
• Collaborate with Digital and Marketing on launches and product set-up.
• Support early-stage own-brand opportunities and cross-functional planograms when needed.
