Job summary

C-Change Scotland is seeking a Personal Development Worker in Glasgow to support a gentleman named Tom with daily routines and creative activities. The role involves assisting with personal care, accompanying him to classes and outings, and promoting independence in a home-based, self-managing team setting.

The position is temporary, part-time (16 hours) with a closing date of 13 October 2026. Sleepovers paid at a similar hourly rate, and full benefits are provided.

Qualifications

• Experience in care or supporting people is preferred.
• Comfort with personal care and daily routines.
• Ability to work in a self-managing team; autonomy encouraged.

Responsibilities

• Support Tom with daily routines and activities.
• Provide assistance with personal care where required.
• Accompany Tom to art classes, social activities, and community outings.
• Support him to maintain friendships and enjoy day trips.
• Encourage independence while promoting wellbeing, dignity and choice.
• Help Tom continue pursuing his creative interests and displaying artwork.
