Personal Care Teaching Assistant - Secondary School
Full time or part time role available (8.30am until 4.30pm)
Wandsworth, South West London

Remedy Education are looking to recruit a teaching assistant for a large Secondary school in Wandsworth that are looking for a 1:1 SEN Teaching Assistant to support a child in Year 8 with personal care, ASD and challenging behaviour.

This job role entails:

1. Working and caring for children with an educational health care plan
2. Supporting and tailoring the curriculum and activities to support young pupils
3. Working with external agencies, the wider team and the senior leadership team to support the children for the best interest of them
4. Taking personal care of children and young adults

We are looking for:

1. Up to date knowledge on safeguarding and how to keep children safe in Education
2. Level 3 qualification in care, nursery or a teaching assistant qualification
3. Worked in Education provisions for a minimum of 6 months in the UK
4. Able to forward think and plan for activities where the child is not engaged
