Job summary

Prospero Teaching is seeking a Teaching Assistant (Personal Care) in Romford, Havering. This full-time role supports learners with special educational needs, including personal care, across the classroom, for the duration of the academic year ending July 2027.

The candidate should have at least 1 year of UK SEN classroom experience and up-to-date safeguarding training from the last year. Eligibility requires Right to Work in the UK, DBS checks, and two professional references.

• Minimum rate of pay - Minimum rate 100 per day
• Hours - 8:30 am - 4pm : Mon - Fri (term time only)

EXPERIENCE, TRAINING AND QUALIFICATIONS

• Minimum 1 year classroom SEN experience in the UK
• Up to date Safeguarding training issued in the last year

TO BE ELIGIBLE FOR THIS ROLE THROUGH PROSPERO TEACHING, YOU MUST:

• Hold Right to Work in the UK
• Hold an enhanced child barred list DBS certificate registered with the online update service or be willing to process a new application
• Provide two professional child related references that cover at least the last two years
