Job summary

The Supply Register is recruiting for a Personal Care Assistant to support pupils in a well-established SEN secondary school in Bradford (BD15). You will work on a supply basis with opportunities for full-time or part-time hours.

Role involves personal care, mobility support, and helping pupils engage in class activities, within a supportive SEN environment. DBS Update Service required and full onboarding provided.

Qualifications

• Experience in personal care, SEN support, care work or similar.
• Calm, patient and empathetic approach.
• Ability to follow care plans and adapt to pupil needs.
• DBS registered on the Update Service (essential).

Responsibilities

• Provide dignified, respectful personal care.
• Support pupils with physical or medical needs.
• Assist with classroom activities and engagement.
• Maintain a safe, inclusive environment with SEN staff.

About the Role

You will support pupils with:
Personal care routines (washing, toileting, changing, hygiene support)
Mobility and physical assistance
Classroom engagement and access to learning
Emotional regulation and wellbeing
Daily routines within a specialist SEN environment

All roles are offered on a supply basis through The Supply Register.
