Personal Care Assistant Required for Young Male

Salary: £11.44 per hour

Hours: 6 hours per week

DBS: Yes, Enhanced with Barred List Check

This is a permanent, part-time vacancy that will close in one month at 23:59 BST.

The Vacancy

Our client is seeking a personal assistant for their son, who has additional needs, to support him in social activities and accessing the community. The son is a wheelchair user.

The ideal candidate will have an easy-going attitude, be sensible, patient, understanding, and fun. Excellent communication skills are essential. The role involves assisting with personal hygiene, changing clothes after school, and medication management. The family encourages independence where possible, so supporting this is important.

The position is 6 hours per week, paid at £11.44 per hour, based in Scunthorpe. A full driving license and own transport are required. Experience in a similar role is preferred but not essential, as full training will be provided.

An enhanced DBS check will be necessary, which will be funded by us.
