Personal Care Assistant Required for Young Male

Salary: £11.44 per hour

Hours: 3 hours per week

DBS: Yes, Enhanced with Barred List Check

This is a permanent, part-time vacancy that will close in a month at 23:59 BST.

The Vacancy

Our client is seeking a personal assistant for their son, who has high anxiety needs, to support him in accessing the community and providing some personal care.

The ideal candidate should be patient, fun, and possess excellent communication skills. The son enjoys trips to the park and shops, gardening, listening to music, and playing games on his PlayStation. He is a cheerful and cheeky character but may sometimes display challenging behaviour, so confidence in managing emotions is essential. He has some mobility limitations, making walking uncomfortable at times.

The role involves 3 hours per week, scheduled over variable days and times (to be negotiated). The position is based in Scunthorpe and paid at £11.44 per hour.

Due to the provision of intimate care, the client has the right to request a carer of a specific sex. This vacancy is restricted to men only.

Having a driving license and own vehicle is preferred.

An enhanced DBS check will be required, which will be funded by us.
