Personal care assistant required for young male

Salary: £11.44 per hour

Hours: 3 hours per week

DBS: Yes, Enhanced with Barred List Check

This is a Permanent, Part-Time vacancy that will close in a month at 23:59 BST.

The Vacancy

Our client is seeking a personal assistant for their son, who has high anxiety needs, to support him with accessing the community and providing personal care once he feels comfortable with the successful candidate.

The ideal candidate should be patient, flexible, and willing to build a positive relationship with our client’s son. He enjoys spending time in his bedroom and playing games on his console. He may take time to trust others and might not interact much initially. Although mobile, his mobility can be limited, so support and managing expectations are essential.

The role involves 3 hours per week, scheduled over variable days and times, paid at £11.44 per hour. The position is based in Scunthorpe.

Due to the nature of the role, an enhanced DBS check will be required, which will be funded.
