Personal Assistant (Part-time)

Sunday (Night shift), Tuesday (Day shift), and Saturday (Night shift once a month) available

Looking for an exciting and rewarding role, within the health and social care sector, that is 100% person-centered?

I am a man with spinal cord injury, and I am looking for a reliable Personal Assistant to join my existing team. I have a physical disability and need full support with all aspects of daily living to promote my independence to achieve a good quality of life.

I enjoy outdoor activities; I like going to watch football matches and enjoy socialising with my family and friends. However, I enjoy my quality time at home in my own environment.

The right candidate will be calm and have a genuine caring nature, good communication skills, a sense of humour, and very importantly will be flexible. Due to the nature of the care and support that I require, individuals experienced in hoisting and catheter care would be preferred, however full training will be provided. A full UK driving license is essential as I have my own mobility car, and I like to go out and about with my Personal Assistant in this.

Various shift patterns are available during the day as well as waking nights. Tasks will include supporting with my personal care, catheter care, nutrition, all moving and handling, domestic chores and enabling me to access the local community.

Excellent rate of pay -£14 per hour.
