Job summary

Churchill Park Academy in West Norfolk is seeking a committed Personal Care Assistant to support pupils with complex needs. This part-time role is 27.5 hours per week, 9am-3pm, term time plus 1 week, for ages 3-19 in a modern, all-through setting.

The successful candidate will form positive relationships with children and young people, be resilient and energetic, and have the discretion and empathy to tailor support to individual learning needs. DBS enhanced required.

27.5 hours per week

Salary - Scale C £13.69 per hour

Located in a modern purpose-built facility, Churchill Park Academy is an all-through mixed special school serving children and young people across West Norfolk with a range of complex needs. The academy was rated 'Expected Standard' in all areas by Ofsted in June 2026. With 224 students currently on roll, Churchill Park Academy provides a supportive and inclusive learning environment tailored to the individual needs of its pupils. The successful candidate will have the ability to form positive relationships with children and young people and be committed to ensuring they have the very best support to learn. We are looking for someone who is confident, energetic, and open minded. Experience of working in a special school is not essential. Candidates must be able to empathize with young people who have a range of complex needs and all age groups.
