Job summary

Glasgow Centre for Inclusive Living in Glasgow seeks a Personal Assistant to support a lively 9-year-old boy on his daily adventures in the local community.

You will help him access activities, encourage independence, and provide gentle reminders for personal care while ensuring safety and lots of fun. The role is based in the G22 area and offers 4 hours per week at £14.45 per hour.

I'm a lively, fun-loving 9-year-old boy with a huge personality and an infectious smile. I love keeping busy, exploring my local community, and making people laugh. When I'm comfortable and enjoying myself, I'm chatty, relaxed, full of character, and always ready for the next adventure.

No two days are ever the same with me. One minute we might be sharing jokes and laughs, and the next we'll be heading off to one of my favourite places for a fun-filled day out.

What's My Idea of a Great Day?

• Visiting the park
• Trips to the cinema
• Going into town
• Spending time at Flip Out, which is one of my favourite places and always leaves me smiling (and usually very tired afterwards!)
• Exploring new places and trying new activities
• Taking part in community activities and days out

About the Role

I'm looking for a Personal Assistant to support me to enjoy the activities I love, build my confidence, and make the most of every adventure.
