Job summary

Glasgow Centre for Inclusive Living is seeking a female Personal Assistant/Carer to support a wheelchair user in Glasgow's East End. The role involves personal care, domestic tasks, and driving a wheelchair accessible vehicle to social events and activities.

Shifts total 21 hours per week, with two patterns 10:00-13:00 and 15:30-18:30, Monday to Sunday. Flexibility for the right candidate is required. Hourly pay is £13.45, paid four-weekly in arrears.

Qualifications

• Provide personal care and domestic support within the home.
• Must be able to drive a wheelchair accessible vehicle to activities and appointments.
• Previous experience cooking, driving licence, being a non-smoker and sociable is desirable.

Personal Assistant/Carer Female

I am a female wheelchair user living in the East End of Glasgow. I am looking for a female Personal Assistant/Carer to cover various tasks:

• provide personal care/domestic support (cleaning and meal preparation)
• drive my wheelchair accessible vehicle to social events, shopping and other activities.

21 hours per week 10am- 1pm Monday to Sunday

21 hours per week 3.30pm-6.30pm Monday to Sunday

These working patterns will be flexible for the right candidate(s).

£13.45 per hour paid 4-weekly in arrears.

Previous experience: cooking skills, driving licence, non-smoker, sociable.
