Job summary

Purple Dpss in Cambridge is seeking compassionate care support for M, a sociable young person who requires close supervision and a specialist buggy to stay safe during daily activities and outings.

You will provide one-to-one support with personal care, dressing, and community access, promoting wellbeing, independence and engagement, while following family-guided routines and ensuring comfort and safety.

Responsibilities

• Provide one-to-one support for daily activities, personal care and community outings while promoting wellbeing, independence and engagement.
• Assist with nappies, dressing and changing clothes to keep M clean, comfortable and safe.
• Accompany M on outings and support safe access to the community using the specialist buggy when required.
• Maintain close supervision at all times, particularly in public surroundings.

Hours and rate of

pay hours

113 hours @ £15 ph available to be used flexibly, including weekends and

school holidays.

The working pattern will be agreed with family.

What you would

be doing
