Dewis CIL is seeking a Personal Assistant to support a female client in Pontypridd with personal care, household tasks, and community activities. The role requires flexibility for days, nights, weekends and overnight shifts, and the driver must be confident with an adapted vehicle.

Training is provided; prior experience is not required. The position offers 16–20 hours per week in a home and community setting, with a welcoming, sociable atmosphere and long-term engagement opportunities.

Qualifications

• Provide one-to-one support and personal care.
• Flexible hours including days, nights, weekends and overnights.
• Able to drive in an adapted vehicle.
• Patient, sociable and reliable with a positive approach.

Responsabilités

• Provide personal care and ensure safety at all times.
• Assist with community access and activities of client’s choice.
• Meal preparation of basic foods and light household duties.
• Support with hair, makeup and personal appearance.
• Follow care plan and communicate any concerns.
