Job summary

Dewis Centre for Independent Living in Treorchy is seeking a part-time Personal Assistant to help a mobility-impaired client get out and about. You will accompany to social activities, visit stations, and assist with community engagement to reduce isolation.

Role requires local area travel, DBS disclosure, and verification of right to work in the UK. Initial trial period applies; regular monthly wage with mileage allowance will be provided.

Responsibilities

• Access local community and attend social activities.
• Visit railway stations and watch trains with the client.
• Attend local places of interest and community groups.
• Complete local errands (post office, etc.).
• Provide companionship and encourage social connections.
• Assist with safe mobility and ensure client safety during outings.
