Dewis Centre for Independent Living is seeking a Personal Assistant to support an 18-year-old in the Llantrisant area with ADHD and autism, promoting independence and safe participation in community activities.

The role involves weekend hours (3 hours per week) with pay at £14.20 per hour plus mileage at 45p per mile; applicants must have a driving licence and reliable transport. DBS checks apply.

Qualifications

• Must have reliable transport and a valid driving licence.
• Experience supporting a young adult with ADHD/ASD preferred.
• Willingness to accompany social activities and travel locally.

Responsabilités

• Accompany the young man to activities and outings while ensuring safety.
• Support independence in everyday tasks and budgeting.
• Be punctual, flexible and build a trusting relationship.
