Job summary

Darlington Association on Disability is seeking a Personal Assistant to support an 18-year-old in daily activities. You will accompany them to the gym, swimming, and outings, encourage participation, and share in hobbies such as gaming and trains.

Support will be outside school hours (9am–5pm, Monday to Friday) with flexibility at other times, and transport can be arranged. Join a community-focused team to enable independent living and meaningful daily activities, with opportunities for travel

Qualifications

• Provide support to an 18-year-old who enjoys keeping busy.
• Accompany them to gym and swimming and encourage participation.
• Share in interests such as gaming and trains when possible.

Responsibilities

• Support needs arranged outside of college hours (9am–5pm, Mon–Fri).
• Assist with travel using local public transport.
• Encourage participation in activities and outings.
