Job summary

Self Direct Support Options Fife is seeking a Personal Assistant to support an 88-year-old male with dementia. The role covers 2x PAs sharing the 17.5 hours per week, including morning personal care, catheter checks, medication administration, light meal prep, and evening routine.

The successful candidate will help with showering, dressing, oral care, and preparing breakfast, with PVG enhanced checks required. Interviews to discuss arrangements will be arranged.

Your hours of work will be 2 1/4 hours per day

45min in the morning, 30 minutes lunch and 30mins tea then tuc 30 min

We are looking for a personal assistant to help an 88-year-old male with personal care, medication, and light meal prep. The individual has Dementia and is an active character that enjoys other people’s company. The support is to help with personal care in the morning, then catheter checks, medication, meals, and fluids assistance, then ready for bed.

Our client is looking for someone who is patient, caring and supportive. This post is looking for someone to encourage and support our client to shower, shave, brush teeth and help to dress each day, empty his catheter, give him his medication and eye drops. Making the client breakfast would also be part of the role. We are currently getting this role reassessed so additional hours may follow.
