Self Direct Support Options Fife is seeking a compassionate Personal Assistant to help a 94-year-old female with her morning routine. This role includes personal care and dressing, supporting independence, and maintaining a positive, encouraging approach.

Shifts are 1h 15min each morning, Tue-Sat, with flexibility to discuss timings at interview. A PVG check is required; applicants should be caring, reliable, flexible, and have a good sense of humour.

1hr 15min each morning Tues- Saturday Can be flexible of timings but happy to discuss further at interview.

We are looking for personal assistant to help a 94 year old female with her morning routine. This comprises of either showering or having a wash down. Our client wants to stay as independent as possible and needs minimal assistance however encouragement and support are a must.

Our client is easy going and loves to chat away. She enjoys knitting, the Royal family, reading and watching her soaps. Due to an irregular heartbeat blood pressure can be low. This causes dizzy spells and unsteadiness. Tends to furniture walk but has walker in her home. Uses walker and wheelchair when outside.

The personal assistant would help with

• Personal care/ dressing
• Meal prep - simple breakfast and preparing a sandwich for lunch
• Making sure glasses or her water bottle are filled for the day

Applicants must have a caring attitude, have a good sense of humour, be reliable with a positive and flexible approach to work. Having experience within this area would be of benefit.

This role requires an enhanced check through PVG (Protecting Vulnerable Groups) where you will be asked to provide a copy of your certificate to your new Employer for their records.
