Job summary

Lancashire Independent Living Service is seeking a temporary female Personal Assistant to support a lady with reduced mobility in her own home each morning. You will help her get ready, maintain a safe environment and complete light domestic tasks.

The role is part-time, mornings, and offered on either employed or self-employed basis. Previous care experience is desirable but not essential; a positive attitude and good work ethic are important.

Qualifications

• Willing to undertake a DBS check paid by the employer.
• Provide suitable references.

Job description

We are looking for a temporary female Personal Assistant to work on either an employed or self-employed basis. To support a lady with reduced mobility in her own home get ready to start her day.

As a Personal Assistant your duties will include supporting her with minimal personal care each morning ensuring that a safe environment is maintained. Undertaking light domestic duties will also be required.

We are looking for a caring and motivated individual with a passion for supporting others.

Previous experience in the care sector desirable but not essential, but a positive attitude and good work ethic is., Successful candidates must be willing to undertake a DBS check (paid for by the Employer) and provide suitable references.

This is a part time position for on average 4.5 hours per week, mornings between Mon-Fri with an hourly rate of £13.50.

• 5.6 weeks paid annual leave (on a pro rata basis) and workplace pension scheme if you are to be employed.
