A leading organization in the UK is seeking a Personal Advisor to support young people leaving care. The role involves providing guidance on accommodation, education, and employment, while promoting independent living skills. Ideal candidates will have a Level 3 Diploma and experience with vulnerable youth. This is a long-term temporary position with opportunities for ongoing training and competitive pay.

You will have the drive and motivation to deliver excellent services and improve outcomes to ensure a positive difference and brighter future for our children and young people.
You will hold at least a Level 3 Diploma in Children and Young People or equivalent and have strong direct experience working with vulnerable children and young people within or leaving the care system.
You will have a sound understanding of legislation, as well as financial and benefit entitlements for care leavers.
As a personal advisor for leaving care, you will work with a diverse group of young people from various backgrounds and life experiences. You will need exceptional communication and interpersonal skills to motivate and inspire them to reach their potential.
You will creatively source appropriate support regarding accommodation, education, and employment opportunities, and provide emotional, social, and practical skills to promote independent living.
You will collaborate closely with our permanence service to provide tailored support, guidance, and advice on transition planning for young people leaving care.
You should be confident, proactive, and capable of working in partnership with multi-agencies to achieve the best outcomes.
