An established industry player is seeking a passionate Personal Advisor to join their Leaving Care Service. This role focuses on supporting young people in care and those transitioning to adulthood, ensuring they achieve positive outcomes. The position offers a hybrid working environment, allowing for a blend of office and community engagement. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of trauma and its impact, demonstrating excellent proactive working skills. SO1 (£33,366 to £37,938). This role is eligible for an Essential Car User allowance of up to £963 per annum.
37 hours, Full Time, Permanent, Hybrid: Central House and a mix of office, community, and home working.

Join Stockport’s Leaving Care Service as a Personal Adviser. We are expanding to support the increasing number of young people in care and care leavers up to age 25.
You will be highly motivated to achieve positive outcomes for young people leaving care and transitioning to adulthood. You will have excellent skills in flexible, proactive working, with a good understanding of trauma and its impact. You will be committed to partnership working with children’s and adults’ services and maintaining relationships with partner agencies supporting care leavers.
