Job summary

Phoenix Domestic Abuse Services is seeking an Intervention Officer to work in our office, delivering the Intervention Programme in group and 1:2:1 settings. The role requires accountability for behaviour, risk management and safeguarding, with some evening sessions to meet service needs.

The post offers two entry routes, permanent contract and a commitment to trauma-informed, safety-focused practice across the All Family Approach.

Qualifications

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to manage and prioritise a caseload effectively.
• Experience delivering behavioural change interventions.
• Experience developing and delivering group programmes or interventions.
• Knowledge of safeguarding procedures.

Responsibilities

• Assess individuals and assess risk to establish suitability and needs.
• Deliver interventions to individuals who have used domestic abuse and harmful behaviours.
• Deliver both daytime and evening sessions.
• Write focused, accurate reports for external agencies and clients.
• Maintain case records and monitor outcomes to show impact.
• Support safeguarding, risk management and partnership working.
