Job summary

Head First provides specialist support and case management services for individuals with complex neurological conditions and injuries. We are hiring a Permanent Support Worker to assist a male client in his family home in Horsham, with 30 hours per week, Monday to Friday, 3:00 pm to 9:00 pm.

You will promote independence, wellbeing and community participation, including personal care, mobility, routines and social activities. Driving a vehicle is required and a DBS check will be completed.

• Experience in care is desirable but not essential.
• Full UK driving licence (the role includes driving an automatic vehicle).

Permanent Support Worker

Location : Horsham, West Sussex

Salary : £16.78 per hour (Equivalent annual salary of approximately £26,200 per annum based on a 30-hour working week)

We are seeking a compassionate, reliable and motivated Permanent Support Worker to join an established team supporting a male client living with cerebral palsy in his family home in Horsham. This is a permanent employed role with guaranteed contracted hours of 30 hours per week, Monday to Friday, 3:00 pm to 9:00 pm.

Our client enjoys good conversation, social outings, football, meeting new people and gaming on his PlayStation. He uses a wheelchair in the community but can walk short distances with support and a walking aid.

About the Role

You will provide day-to-day support that promotes independence, wellbeing and community participation. Responsibilities include:
