Job summary

TeacherActive is partnering with a SEND provision in Chester to recruit a dedicated SEND Teacher for a full-time, on-site role. The successful candidate will teach students across all Key Stages (ages 5–19), many with Autism/ASD, LD, or ADD/ADHD, and will support their social, emotional, and personal development through a varied curriculum.

The role requires QTS and experience with additional needs, with on-going CPD opportunities and a supportive onboarding process provided by our consultant

Qualifications

• QTS with SEND experience is required.
• Experience with children and young people with additional needs (ASD/SLD/PMLD/ADD/ADHD).
• Experience supporting children through therapeutic practices.

Responsibilities

• Teach students across all Key Stages (ages 5–19) in SEND provision.
• Deliver an engaging curriculum with a focus on social, emotional and personal development.
• Collaborate with school staff and therapy teams to support learners.
