Permanent Registered Veterinary Nurse - Bridgend

Practice Type: RCVS-accredited small animal hospital
Team: You will be joining a team of over 20 qualified and trained nurses including those with further qualifications and interests in anaesthesia, exotics, feline medicine, and behaviour. they fund and fully support further development in areas of your interest. They are happy to support newly qualified RVNs in the transition to their new role.
Services/Facilities: Their hospital provides a comprehensive clinical service including offering referral-level orthopaedic and soft tissue surgery, services in exotics, and their own inpatient/emergency service.
Role: This is a varied role; managing inpatients, monitoring anaesthesia, assisting in surgical and diagnostic procedures, consulting in nurse clinics, dispensing medications, triaging patients, and advising clients.
Candidate : Their nurses are an integral part of their team and facilitated to utilise their skills to the maximum. They support schedule 3 procedures and a holistic approach to patient care that involves nursing expertise. Their nurses are actively involved in clinical governance and the direction of the practice.
Hours:
OOHS/Weekend : They believe providing OOH to their own clients allows the best clinical care and job satisfaction. The role includes a share in the OOH rota (weekends, bank holidays, and nights). These are working shifts and recovery time is provided. You are welcome to view an example rota.
Salary : For a full-time candidate the salary is up to £33,280 p/a (DOE)
