Job summary

Simply Education Ltd in partnership with a welcoming primary school in Northampton is recruiting a dedicated Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA) for a permanent, full-time position.

The HLTA will deliver lessons, cover classes as needed, and support teaching and learning across the primary curriculum. You will work with small groups and individuals to raise attainment and assist with planning, preparation and assessment in a positive, inclusive environment.

Qualifications

• HLTA qualification or relevant experience.
• Experience in a primary school setting.
• Good understanding of the primary curriculum.
• Confident leading whole-class learning when required.
• Excellent communication and organisational skills.
• Positive, flexible and proactive approach.

Responsibilities

• Deliver lessons and cover classes when required.
• Support teaching and learning across the primary curriculum.
• Work with small groups and individual pupils to raise attainment.
• Support teachers with planning, preparation and assessment.
• Promote a positive, engaging and inclusive learning environment.
