Job summary

Kingdom Services Group Ltd is hiring a Security Officer at Drax Power Station in Selby. You will protect personnel, visitors, equipment and assets while delivering excellent customer service and maintaining safety and security across a busy national infrastructure site.

Qualifications

• Valid SIA Door Supervisor Licence is essential.
• Full UK manual driving licence and own transport essential.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Good IT and report-writing skills.
• Experience in security, gatehouse operations and access control.

Responsibilities

• Operate gatehouses, weighbridge facilities and CCTV control rooms.
• Conduct regular foot and vehicle patrols across site and perimeter.
• Monitor premises, personnel and visitors for safety and security.
• Control access and egress of vehicles and individuals.
• Carry out vehicle searches and screening procedures as required.
• Respond to incidents, alarms and emergencies appropriately.
• Complete incident reports, logs and security documentation.
• Monitor CCTV and report suspicious activity.
• Ensure compliance with health, safety and security procedures.
• Provide professional customer service to staff, contractors and visitors.
