Job summary

PSR Solutions is recruiting a Senior Care Assistant for a well-established nursing home in Carlisle. You will join a dedicated team delivering compassionate, person-centred care during 8pm–8am shifts, guiding colleagues and ensuring high standards stay in line with best practice.

We seek candidates with N/SVQ Level 3 (or working towards it), strong communication skills, and a proactive, caring approach. DBS/PVG check and right to work in the UK are required.

Qualifications

• N/SVQ Level 3 qualified (or working towards)
• Medication training is desirable (training can be provided)
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Positive, proactive approach with a genuine passion for care
• Willingness to undertake PVG check and full UK work eligibility

Responsibilities

• Lead by example to deliver high-quality, person-centred care
• Support and mentor junior care staff within the team
• Ensure care plans and regulatory standards are followed
