Job summary

Bec Recruitment is seeking a Structural Steel Welder in Irlam, Greater Manchester for a full-time permanent position. Working hours are 6AM-2PM, Monday to Friday, at £19.32 per hour, with excellent overtime potential.

You must be a time-served MIG welder (apprentice trained / NVQ Level 3) with FC wire and positional welding experience; heavy plate experience is preferred. Join a global bridge and structural steel company on multi-million-pound UK projects.

Qualifications

• Time-served MIG welder (Apprentice trained / NVQ Level 3)
• Experience with FC wire and positional welding
• Heavy plate experience is preferred

Responsibilities

• Work with complex structural steel fabrications.
• Confidently use hand tools associated with welding, both manual and grinding.
• Arc Air gouging preferred but not essential.
• Work efficiently both independently and as part of a team.
• Strictly adhere to Health & Safety practices and wear proper PPE
