Job summary

Bec Recruitment has a live role for skilled structural steel welders in the UK. The position is dayshift with a 4 day/week schedule and overtime available. A drug and alcohol test will be conducted on day one.

Heavy plate experience and MIG welding ability are required, including fillet and butt welds to a high standard. Flux core experience is advantageous; NVQ Level 3 or apprentice training is preferred. Adherence to health and safety and PPE is essential.

Qualifications

• Heavy plate experience preferred.
• Apprentice trained or NVQ Level 3 preferred.
• MIG welding proficiency including fillet and butt welds.

Responsibilities

• Weld structural steel using MIG process.
• Perform flux core welding where required.
• Welds will be subject to NDT.
