Job summary

GSL Education are seeking a full-time Learning Support Assistant at a welcoming primary school in Totton. The role runs 8:30am to 3:30pm, Monday to Friday, with pay at £14.24 per hour and a clear path to gaining classroom experience.

You will support students with additional needs across core subjects, deliver small-group and 1:1 interventions, and work closely with teaching staff and the SEN team to monitor progress and foster positive learning behaviours.

Qualifications

• Experience with supporting students with additional needs.
• Strong communication and teamwork abilities.
• Patience and enthusiasm for helping learners.

Responsibilities

• Supporting students with additional needs, including those with EHCPs
• Providing in-class support across a range of subjects
• Delivering small-group and 1:1 interventions
• Encouraging confidence, engagement and positive behaviour for learning
