Job summary

Whitbread's Premier Inn North Shields (Ferry Terminal) is hiring a Kitchen Team Member. The role is permanent with guaranteed hours and a 12-hour weekly contract, paying up to £13.06 per hour. Evening and weekend shifts are included, at Royal Quays, North Shields.

You’ll assist with meal prep, cooking and serving, keep the kitchen tidy, receive deliveries and help the team run smooth service. No prior hotel experience required; training provided.

Qualifications

• No formal hospitality experience required; training provided.
• Ability to handle busy service periods and help keep kitchen organised.

Responsibilities

• Prepare ingredients before service starts.
• Cook and plate meals during breakfast and dinner service.
• Keep the kitchen clean, organised and ready for the next rush.
• Receive deliveries and manage stock.
• Work with hotel team to ensure smooth service.
• Ensure meals leave the kitchen looking right.
