Job summary

Premier Inn in Thirsk is hiring a Kitchen Team Member to help prepare, cook and serve meals that guests enjoy during their stay. You may start with breakfast prep and later assist during busy dinner service, all within a supportive hotel team.

There’s no requirement for prior hotel experience; training will be provided. You’ll be part of a team that keeps the kitchen running smoothly, with the chance to grow within Premier Inn.

Qualifications

• No hotel experience required–candidates from supermarkets, cafés, pubs, restaurants, warehouses or customer service jobs have succeeded.
• Willingness to learn and carry out tasks as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Prepare ingredients before service starts.
• Cook and plate meals during breakfast and dinner service.
• Keep the kitchen clean, organized and ready for the next rush.
• Receive deliveries and store stock correctly.
• Work closely with the hotel team to ensure smooth service.
• Ensure each meal leaves the kitchen looking right.
