Job summary

Leeds Teaching Hospitals NHS Trust is seeking dedicated Facilities Technicians (Portering) to support patient movement and site logistics at LGI and St James's Hospital. These permanent roles require 37.5 hours per week across earlies, lates, nights and weekends in a variable rota.

Successful applicants will join a large Estates and Facilities team responsible for maintaining a safe and clean hospital environment. Full training will be provided, with uniform supplied on appointment.

Qualifications

• Role requires moving patients, waste and items safely around hospital sites.
• Flexible shifts and reliable attendance are essential for 37.5 hours per week.

Responsibilities

• Provide portering services to patients across the site.
• Move waste and other items as required throughout LGI and SJUH sites.
• Assist with ad-hoc duties as directed by the Facilities team.
