Job summary

Simply Education Ltd is recruiting a Level 3 Childcare Practitioner for a permanent role in Saxilby, Lincoln. You will work with children aged 2-5, supporting development through play and ensuring a safe, nurturing environment.

The role includes 30-40 hours per week across four days, with a start date of 26 October 2026. A Level 2 is required, Level 3 preferred, and qualifications such as CACHE/NCFE/NVQ are considered.

Qualifications

• Minimum Level 2 qualification in Childcare/EY is required.
• Level 3 qualification preferred.
• Qualifications may include CACHE, NCFE, NVQ or other recognised Early Years/Childcare qualifications.
• Previous nursery/early years experience is highly desirable.

Responsibilities

• Support children's learning and development through play and activities.
• Provide high-quality care for children aged 2-5.
• Support personal, social and emotional development.
• Help children build confidence, independence and positive relationships.
• Follow EYFS framework and support individual learning needs.
• Create a safe, welcoming and stimulating environment.
• Work closely with colleagues and the wider nursery team.
• Communicate positively with parents and carers.
• Assist with daily routines including meals, toileting, dressing and transitions.
• Maintain high safeguarding, health and safety and child welfare standards.
