Job summary

The Education Alliance is seeking a Cover Supervisor to support learning across its multi‑school trust. You will supervise classes in the absence of teachers, maintain classroom routines and support departmental colleagues.

The role offers full-time hours during term time, an annual starting salary around £20,957.19, and opportunities for training and progression within TEAL’s schools.

DBS checks, eligibility to work in the UK and commitment to safeguarding are required.

Qualifications

• GCSEs at grade C/4 or equivalent.
• Demonstrable experience of working with young people in an educational setting.
• Good working knowledge of classroom management strategies.

Responsibilities

• Supervise classes in the absence of their subject teacher.
• Provide support to departmental colleagues and teams.
• Record attendance and communicate with colleagues across the school.
• Assist with administering tasks and supporting learning activities.
