• Speciality -Consultant General Adult Psychiatrist
• Location -Manchester
• Pay Rate - £105,000 to £139,000 per annum
• An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Consultant General Adult Psychiatrist to join a highly collaborative team in Manchester. This role supports a sectorised model of care across both community and inpatient settings.

Main Duties & Responsibilities:

• Lead assessments, diagnosis, and treatment planning for adults with a range of psychiatric conditions.
• Provide clinical supervision to junior medical staff and participate in MDT discussions.
• Oversee legal duties as the Responsible Clinician under the Mental Health Act.
• Participate in academic teaching, audit, and service development

CESR support available for international candidates.

• Fully compliant and cleared to work (we can help with this)
• DBS/Police Check
• Full Registration with the General Medical Council
• MRCPsych or recognised equivalent
• Approved under section 12 of the Mental Health Act 1983

Permanent applicants must be eligible for inclusion in the Specialist Register or within 12 months of CCT at time of interview.
