Finning (UK) Ltd in Corby, UK, is seeking a Parts Sales Specialist to identify and convert Perkins parts sales opportunities while delivering expert technical support. You will act as a key contact for customers and internal teams, using product knowledge and relationship-building to maximise sales and ensure the right parts are ordered.

In this role you will gather requirements, provide quotations, manage opportunities through to close, and maintain accurate CRM records.

Qualifications

• Experience in parts sales or technical sales.
• Knowledge of diesel engines and engine parts.
• Strong customer focus and service commitment.
• Ability to explain technical information clearly.
• Proven negotiation and closing skills.
• Proficient with CRM systems

Responsabilités

• Develop and convert Perkins parts sales opportunities through proactive customer engagement and outstanding service.
• Act as a key point of contact for customers, ensuring service commitments are met in line with the DiPerk Customer Promise.
• Provide expert technical advice on Perkins engines and parts, helping customers identify the right products for their requirements.
• Gather, interpret, and analyse technical information to identify customer needs and maximise sales opportunities.
• Produce and follow up quotations, managing opportunities through to successful completion.
• Build strong working relationships with internal teams, including Customer Service Administration and Parts Interpretation, to ensure seamless customer support.
• Monitor order progress and delivery performance, keeping customers informed and ensuring expectations are consistently met.
• Support CRM activities by maintaining accurate customer records, sales data, and opportunity pipelines.
• Identify opportunities to improve processes, enhance customer experience, and increase sales performance.
• Maintain a high level of technical knowledge, positioning yourself and DiPerk as a trusted source of expertise within the Perkins market.
