Job summary

Finning (UK) Ltd is seeking a motivated Parts Sales Specialist to join DiPerk, the Perkins engine specialist for the UK and Ireland. You will identify, develop, and convert parts sales opportunities, providing expert technical support to customers while building strong relationships across internal teams.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of diesel engines and associated engine parts.
• Experience in parts sales, technical sales, customer service, or similar commercial environment.
• Strong customer focus with commitment to delivering exceptional service.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, ability to explain technical information clearly.
• Proven ability to identify sales opportunities, negotiate, and close deals.
• Confident using CRM systems and maintaining accurate customer data.

Responsibilities

• Develop and convert Perkins parts sales opportunities through proactive customer engagement and outstanding service.
• Act as a key contact for customers, ensuring service commitments meet the DiPerk Customer Promise.
• Provide expert technical advice on Perkins engines and parts to identify the right products.
• Gather, interpret, and analyse information to identify customer needs and maximise sales.
• Produce and follow up quotations, manage opportunities through to completion.
• Maintain CRM records and sales data; support internal teams for seamless customer support.
• Identify opportunities to improve processes and increase sales performance.
• Maintain a high level of technical knowledge to position DiPerk as a trusted Perkins expert.
