Job summary

DiPerk, a division of Finning (UK) Ltd, is seeking a motivated Parts Sales Specialist in the UK to drive Perkins parts sales and deliver expert technical support to customers. You will engage with customers, identify needs, and convert opportunities while collaborating with internal teams to ensure high service standards.

The role emphasizes strong knowledge of diesel engines, customer service, and relationship building, with a focus on achieving sales targets and maintaining product expertise

Qualifications

• Knowledge of diesel engines and engine parts.
• Experience in parts sales or technical sales.
• Strong customer focus and relationship building.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Proven ability to identify sales opportunities and close deals.
• Proficient with CRM systems.

Responsibilities

• Develop and convert Perkins parts sales opportunities through proactive customer engagement and outstanding service.
• Act as a key point of contact for customers, ensuring service commitments are met.
• Provide expert technical advice on Perkins engines and parts to identify the right products.
• Gather, interpret, and analyse technical information to identify customer needs and maximise sales.
• Produce and follow up quotations, managing opportunities through to closure.
• Build strong working relationships with internal teams to ensure seamless support.
• Monitor order progress and delivery performance, keeping customers informed.
• Support CRM activities by maintaining accurate customer records and sales data.
• Identify opportunities to improve processes and increase sales performance.
• Maintain a high level of technical knowledge and act as a trusted expert.
