The Oxford University Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust invites applications for a Band 6 Perinatal Mortality and Safety Coordinator within the Maternity Directorate. The post includes 37.5 hours per week with 0.2 WTE clinical work and on-call duties.

You will coordinate PMR reviews, support PSIRF implementation, and work with the Patient Safety Midwives to improve staff and patient safety. Applicants should be a Registered Midwife with NMC, with education/mentorship qualifications and a commitment

Qualifications

• Registered Midwife with the NMC.
• Education/Mentorship Qualification or equivalent.
• Evidence of ongoing development/education.

Responsabilités

• Coordinate perinatal mortality reviews (PMR) using the PMRT tool with the Patient Safety Midwives.
• Support PMR reviews to align with CNST Maternity Incentive Scheme requirements.
• Contribute to learning responses, safety reviews, investigations and system improvements under PSIRF.
• Support maternity governance team and deputise for patient safety midwives as needed.
