Oxford University Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust is offering a 12-month secondment for a Band 6 Midwife to work 37.5 hours per week within the Maternity Directorate. The role focuses on coordinating perinatal mortality reviews, data collection and contributing to safety investigations and learning as part of a multidisciplinary team.

Responsabilidades

• Coordinate data collection, meetings and administration to ensure timely investigations of perinatal mortality incidents.
• Ensure PMR reviews are undertaken in line with CNST Maternity Incentive Scheme requirements for perinatal mortality review.
• Support implementation of the Trust's PSIRF, contributing to learning responses, safety reviews and investigations.
• Support maternity clinical governance team and deputise for the patient safety midwives as needed.
• Identify perinatal deaths eligible for PMR; coordinate PMR reviews using PMRT; liaise with Patient Safety Midwives.
• Support Bereavement midwives to ensure reporting to MBBRACE in line with CNST requirements.
• Undertake rapid reviews of perinatal deaths to identify immediate safety concerns with a senior clinician.
