South West London and St George's Mental Health NHS Trust is seeking an experienced Perinatal Parent Infant Therapist/Adult Psychotherapist/Child & Adolescent Psychotherapist to join our specialist perinatal mental health service.

The post focuses on parent-infant pathways with opportunities for training and supervision within a supportive, multi-disciplinary team at Springfield University Hospital, London.

Qualifications

• Full/Completed training in Adult Psychodynamic or Psychoanalytic Psychotherapy or Child Psychotherapy.
• Doctoral level training or equivalent in Clinical or Counselling Psychology.
• Professional registration with HCPC/UKCP/BPC/ACP.
• Experience of parent-infant observation during training or clinical work.

Responsabilités

• Provide specialist psychotherapeutic assessments of parent-infant dyads.
• Formulate and implement plans for treatment of parent-infant relationship difficulties.
• Deliver a range of psychotherapeutic interventions across care settings.
• Assess and manage risk in parents and babies.
• Discharge planning and collaboration with MDT.
