Job summary

Ancient + Brave is seeking a dedicated video editor to join our in-house team in Lewes. You will cut short-form video for paid social across Meta and TikTok, handling creator and UGC content, product shoots, and archival material with speed and precision.

Collaborating with the Performance Creative Strategist and Art Director, you will ensure all assets stay on brand, deliver high-quality work, and continuously optimize assets based on performance data.

Qualifications

• Proven experience shooting and editing short-form video for paid social at volume.
• Fluent in Adobe Creative Suite and After Effects, or equivalent; comfortable with AI tools.
• Understanding of Meta and TikTok video performance factors (hook, retention, captions).
• Experience turning source material into multiple assets from few shoots.
• Comfortable with basic capture: camera, lighting and sound for self-shot content.

Responsibilities

• Edit short-form video for paid social across platforms with hooks, pacing and captions.
• Create multiple cuts from a single source for diverse audiences.
• Refresh assets based on performance data and feedback.
• Deliver assets to spec across placements while staying on brand.
• Self-shoot simple product/texture content when needed; direct on-camera participants.
