Responsibilities

• Lead Portfolio Trading, Performance & Planning and own the trading performance of the General Insurance portfolio.
• Develop and manage quarterly and annual volume, income and profitability plans aligned to objectives.
• Partner with Finance to maintain forecasts, challenge assumptions and assess delivery against plan.
• Monitor key metrics including income, GWP, conversion, retention and profitability.
• Lead weekly and monthly trading forums and drive improvement actions.
• Deliver insight-led commercial decisions with forecasting and scenario modelling.
• Influence pricing and underwriting strategy to balance growth and profitability.
• Collaborate with marketing, retail and digital teams to maximise customer growth and value.
