Job summary

Experis Consultancy is seeking a Tester to join our UK team on a 12-month contract. The role is based in Manchester or London with a hybrid on-site pattern (3 days on site, some weeks 5 days).

You will design, execute and maintain performance test plans, develop automated scripts, and collaborate across Analysts, client teams and development to optimise application performance. AWS experience and HMRC-aligned standards are valued.

Qualifications

• Strong performance testing experience in enterprise-scale applications.
• Experience designing and executing Load, Stress, Volume, Endurance, and Scalability testing.
• Ability to analyse performance metrics and provide tuning recommendations.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, execute, and maintain performance test plans and scenarios.
• Collaborate with Business Analysts and client teams on requirements.
• Analyse app performance and identify bottlenecks and capacity issues.
• Develop automated performance tests and frameworks.
• Execute load, stress, endurance, and scalability tests.
• Produce detailed performance test reports with recommendations.
• Support defect investigations with development teams.
• Contribute to test planning and estimation in delivery lifecycle.
• Work within Agile teams and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Ensure testing aligns with HMRC quality standards and security requirements.
